Krissia has actually made it through nearly three weeks of track practice without sustaining any major injuries.
Yay!
Last year, it was a torn ligament after only two weeks of running. The year before that, a broken elbow on the third day of practice while trying hurdles for the first time.
We hope this healthy streak continues, as Krissia performed extremely well in her first track meet last weekend. She ran the 800, coming in third out of 45 girls from 12 schools.
So, here's to a great, injury-free season!
Knock on wood :)

Keep it up!
Maybe she will be a big track star like her mom :) I wish a could watch her run!
Didn't you run the 800 as a junior/senior? I always thought of you as a sprinter, but if I remember correctly you moved to the mid-distances later on.
