Love at First Sight

This is our 12-year-old, Jefferson:

Isn't he cute? He attends Sunrise Ridge Intermediate School. While attending a Thunderbolt class at his school three weeks ago, Jefferson fell in love.

Madly. Deeply.

The first time they touched, Jefferson knew it was a match made in heaven. He's been unable to keep his hands to himself ever since:

Yes, Jefferson is in LOVE with the classical guitar.

Although he's been playing only a short time, Jefferson has already learned 7-8 chords. He is also using his fingers to strum the strings, rather than using a pick. His teacher is quite impressed with how quickly Jefferson is picking up the technique and has already begun to send music home for him to learn.

As soon as Jefferson gets home from school, he settles down in the living room to spend some quality time with his new-found love:

I hope this "love" is here to stay :)

That is great! I can totally see Jefferson being great at the guitar! Your kids are all so talented, so it doesn't really surprise me that he picked it up so fast :)

Yea - another man on the guitar. Rick used to play for hours when we were kids. It is great he has found this talent. Mariann plays the guitar. They will have to get together to JAM!!
